The Scheme offers protection for \u2018eligible\u2019 deposits of up to \u00a350,000. The maximum total amount of compensation is capped at \u00a3100,000,000 in any five year period. The Scheme offers protection for \u2018qualifying deposits\u2019 up to \u00a350,000, subject to certain limitations.
