He constructs and manages multi-asset class portfolios for charities and institutions. This includes Livery companies in the City, schools, universities and wildlife and military charities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is proud of how our London Charities team has grown since, alongside a colleague, he helped set it up from a standing start when they joined the group in 2008. Having studied zoology at the University of Edinburgh he is a strong advocate of responsible investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James has managed Charities\u2019 investments throughout his career, starting at HSBC as an Investment Assistant in its Charities team in 2006. He became a Divisional Director at RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2019.
