Markas is a Senior Financial Planner in our Bath office. He specialises in advising private clients, their families and Owner-Managed Businesses, with complex financial needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After gaining a Degree, PhD and Postdoc in Bioelectrochemistry Markas moved into financial planning in 1996. He believes scientific and financial data are similar in the sense that \u2018you are building hypotheses, testing them, and getting results which can change people\u2019s lives immediately\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010 Markas helped set up Epoch Wealth Management, which built and designed an innovative real-time cash flow forecasting software offering for clients. RBC Brewin Dolphin bought Epoch in 2019, enabling it to benefit from the team\u2019s expertise in solving complex financial problems for clients. Markas is both a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner, Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager. He also holds an MSc at MMU Faculty of Finance and Business, which he achieved a distinction in.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
