He constructs and manages portfolios for a range of private clients, companies, trusts and charities. These are mainly on a discretionary basis, but he also has some execution-only clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of his investment process he utilises tax-efficient vehicles such as SIPPs and ISAs where possible. John has a keen focus on managing intergenerational family wealth and developing strong personal relationships with his clients. He has also had a deep passion for stocks and shares since winning a school finance competition when he was 13 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2003 after six years as an Audit Manager at accountancy firm RSM UK. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities &amp; Investment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
