Midland, Texas (November, 2023)<\/strong> \u2014Financial Advisor Judy Galbraith has been named the 2023 recipient of RBC Wealth Management\u2019s Gail Winslow Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual award recognizes women at the firm who demonstrate exemplary efforts to help attract, support and retain women financial advisors and clients. Galbraith received the award at the firm\u2019s Women\u2019s Association of Financial Advisors (WAFA) conference in Minneapolis earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galbraith joined RBC Wealth Management in 1997, and over her 26-year tenure, she has been a trusted mentor and strong advocate for more inclusion of women in the workplace and within her community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As president to the Uptown Midland Business and Professional Women, she chaired their community outreach program for several years. During her time with the organization, she arranged holiday gifts and meals for children at the High Sky Children\u2019s Ranch and led an initiative to refurbish rooms at the Safe Place shelter for women and children. Each year, she led a clothing drive for the women and children living in the shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization founded in 1890 that aims to preserve American history, is a regular volunteer at the West Texas Food Bank and has facilitated financial planning seminars at local churches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It gives me immense joy to see my team excel and our clients prosper.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darryl Traweek, RBC Wealth Management West Divisional Director, recognized Galbraith\u2019s effort and presented her with the award which celebrates women who are following in the footsteps of Gail Winslow, a tenacious pioneer who rose through the ranks despite obstacle that women faced in the financial services industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJudy embodies everything of what this award represents, and I am proud to have her on my team,\u201d Traweek says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gail Winslow Award was established in honor and memory of Gail Winslow, a former RBC Wealth Management financial advisor who was a trailblazer for 60 years in the financial services industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
