Novak will lead 10 branch offices as she continues to drive growth in a key region for the firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An 18-year veteran of the financial services industry, Novak joined RBC Wealth Management in 2023, taking on a leadership role from day one as the Tacoma, Washington branch director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI chose financial services as a career because of my love for theory of economics and people,\u201d Novak says. \u201cBeing in wealth management allows me to observe and witness economic and behavioral psychology concepts at play. I am excited to inspire and guide our financial advisors to not only reach their personal and professional goals but to extend this empowerment to their clients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCarla is dedicated to helping others unlock their capabilities, and ensure that everyone thrives together,\u201d says West Divisional Director Colin Hawkes. \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to see her elevated in this new leadership role as she continues to listen to financial advisors, understand their needs and help them and their clients flourish.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Novak began her career in financial services in 2006 and joined RBC Wealth Management from UBS in 2023. She has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Kean University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has passed her Series 7, 66, 9, 10 and 24 exams.
