NEW YORK and MINNEAPOLIS (January 27, 2022)<\/strong> \u2013 RBC Capital Markets \u2013 U.S. and RBC Wealth Management \u2013 U.S. have for the 13th year received a top score on the Human Rights Campaign\u2019s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation\u2019s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. These RBC divisions join the ranks of 842 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRBC is proud of our Diversity & Inclusion efforts, and to have again been recognized with the highest rating from the Human Rights Campaign for the 13th<\/sup> year. Diversity is a key pillar in RBC\u2019s culture, and we continue to make headways in empowering our employees across all facets of our business. The results of the 2022 CEI showcase how 1,271 U.S.-based companies are not only promoting LGBTQ-friendly workplace policies in the U.S., but also for the 56% of CEI-rated companies with global operations who are helping advance the cause of LGBTQ inclusion in workplaces abroad. RBC\u2019s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI\u2019s criteria earned a 100 percent ranking and the designation as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
