Rob joined the Portfolio Advisory Group at RBC Wealth Management in 2021 and brings 30 years of experience in investment research and technical analysis. He started his career with RBC Capital Markets in Toronto in 1991 as a research associate, and later moved to New York where he served as a managing director leading RBC Capital Markets\u2019 U.S. Technical Research team until 2017. After leaving RBC, Rob joined Fundstrat Global Advisors where he was a managing director and technical strategist providing market research and analysis to institutional investors, registered investment advisors, and high-net-worth individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rob\u2019s technical approach combines a top-down intra-market analysis with a bottom-up, stock by stock methodology focused on price momentum and relative performance to identify turning points and shifts in market leadership. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has passed the FINRA Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 exams.
