John Younger is a managing director and head, Client & Business Strategy for RBC Wealth Management in the UK.
Based in London, Younger is responsible for developing and evolving the value proposition that RBC offers to clients.
Younger joined RBC Wealth Management in 2016 with more than two decades of experience in various roles in the financial services sector. He began his career at RBC Capital Markets in 1992 where he latterly held the position of head of U.S. Debt Capital Markets. He then moved on to hold a variety of roles in the financial sector, including president of Candax Energy, senior adviser at the Bank of England and an adviser to Origin Markets before returning to RBC. Younger is a CFA member in both the UK and Canada.
Born in Montreal, Younger was educated at Upper Canada College and earned a BA in English Literature at McGill University. He then attended the London School of Economics where he earned a diploma in Business Studies and Accounting. An avid athlete, Younger enjoys rowing, running, swimming and cycling.
