MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (December 3, 2014) – John Taft, CEO of RBC Wealth Management – US, was recently appointed to Board of Directors of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
Established in 1987, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts fosters innovative artistic expression and the creative process by encouraging and supporting cultural organizations that in turn, directly or indirectly, support artists and their work. The Foundation values the contribution these organizations make to artists and audiences and to society as a whole by supporting, exhibiting, and interpreting a broad spectrum of contemporary artistic practice.
Taft will play an integral role in assisting the Foundation in imaginatively and responsibly carrying out Andy Warhol’s vision for the Foundation.

A passionate supporter of the arts, Taft has also served on the boards of directors for the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, the Northwest Area Foundation in St. Paul, Minnesota Public Radio, Twin Cities Public Television, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Illusion Theatre in Minneapolis, and the Minnesota Film Board.
