As Head of Strategy and Technology, Amit Sahasrabudhe is accountable for leading the development of RBC’s U.S. Wealth Management strategy and driving the execution of the Wealth Management - U.S. technology and digital transformation. Mr. Sahasrabudhe is responsible for bringing together the resources of the firm and broader RBC enterprise to tackle strategic challenges, pursue new growth opportunities, set the technology vision and priorities, and lead technology execution.

Previously, Mr. Sahasrabudhe was Vice President of Wealth Management Digital & Strategy for RBC’s global Wealth Management segment. In this role, he worked closely with RBC’s Wealth Management business units – spanning asset management and distribution businesses globally – to deliver high-value digital solutions that enhance how clients engage, empower Wealth Management’s advisors and enable the business model.

Mr. Sahasrabudhe joined RBC Wealth Management in 2014 from Deloitte’s strategy consulting practice (Monitor Deloitte), where he spent over 10 years working with financial services institutions in the areas of wealth management and retail banking. Mr. Sahasrabudhe has specific expertise in developing and executing on growth strategies, advising Boards and senior executives in the areas of customer and channel strategy, market expansion, product development, and M&A strategy. In addition, Mr. Sahasrabudhe has driven large-scale business and technology-related transformation programs to drive measurable results. Prior to his consulting experience, Mr. Sahasrabudhe worked in a number of leading technology-based firms including Amazon.com, BlackBerry and Nortel Networks.

Mr. Sahasrabudhe holds an MBA with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
