Five decades of excellence
For half a century, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Singapore has been at the heart of Asia’s financial evolution. Since our establishment in January 1975, we have grown from a trade-focused branch into a diversified financial institution, serving governments, corporations and institutions, and HNWI across Asia.
Singapore’s strategic location, strong economy, and position as a hub for the Asiadollar market make it a critical part of our regional footprint. Over the years, our business has evolved from a pioneering team of fewer than 30 professionals specializing in trade finance and merchant banking to a trusted partner of over 200 experts in private banking, global markets and institutional services.
At RBC, our purpose of helping clients thrive and communities prosper is central to everything we do. Our partnerships with local Singapore charities brings this purpose to life. Our annual RBC Race for the Kids event in Singapore, exemplifies our commitment to supporting local causes and fostering positive change in the lives of children and families.
As we commemorate 50 years of innovation, partnership, and growth, we celebrate our legacy while looking ahead to new opportunities in Asia’s dynamic markets.
