Giles Baxter

Giles Baxter is Managing Director and Head of Technical Trust for RBC Wealth Management’s trust and fiduciary business.

Based in Jersey, Giles is an Executive Director of RBC Trust Company (International) Limited and leads the Technical Trust teams, principally overseeing legal, fiduciary and tax-related matters.

Giles’s skill sets lie in understanding and simplifying the legal and technical aspects of client needs, transactions and complex situations. His expertise helps to ensure exceptional service through robust governance and proactive management of fiduciary risk across the client lifecycle.

Giles is dual-qualified as an English solicitor and Jersey Advocate (non-practicing). He holds a BSc in Maritime Business and an LLB in Law. Prior to joining RBC, Giles was a partner at an established law firm in Jersey, with a focus on trust, corporate and commercial matters, including related litigation.

He is a Member of STEP, the Law Society of England and Wales, and the Jersey Law Society.
