Ignatius K. K. (Iggy) Chong is head of enterprise private clients at RBC Wealth Management in Asia.

Iggy re-joined Royal Bank of Canada in 2014. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Coutts, including head of Hong Kong Market and chair of family business and philanthropy initiatives. His career at Royal Bank of Canada started in Vancouver in 1982. This included roles in personal, commercial and private banking and led to his posting as business manager to the regional manager in Hong Kong in 1990.

Emigrating from Singapore to Canada in 1977, Iggy graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. He obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1996, and earned his fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB).

Iggy has a long history of service to the Canadian community, particularly to UBC, where he is past president of the Hong Kong alumni association. For his contributions and leadership, he was recognized with the UBC Alumni Builders Award. Iggy is an active member and governor of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
