MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (October 10, 2016) – RBC Wealth Management, one of the nation’s largest full-service securities firms, today named Tom Schulenberg as director of the Minneapolis complex, according to Wally Chapman, incoming director of RBC Wealth Management’s central division. In that role, Schulenberg will be responsible for 4 branches and more than 100 financial advisors.

Schulenberg has 23 years of industry experience and joined RBC Wealth Management in 2005 as director of the Wayzata branch. While there, he grew the branch into one of RBC’s flagship offices, while doubling the size. Last year Schulenberg was named director of RBC Wealth Management’s Edina office when Chapman left that role to become the Minneapolis complex director.

“Tom has been a proven leader at both of RBC’s Wayzata and Edina offices and well-respected by the financial advisors he works with,” said Chapman. “Tom has a wealth of knowledge and depth of leadership skills needed to lead the Minneapolis complex.”

As Minneapolis complex director, Schulenberg will oversee the Minneapolis, Edina, Wayzata and Minnetonka offices.

Schulenberg graduated from the University of Minnesota’s College of Liberal Arts and Law School. In 1990 he passed the Minnesota Bar.
