Firm demonstrates commitment to continued growth and success

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (November 8, 2016) – RBC Correspondent Services, one of the nation’s largest clearing firms for independent broker-dealers, and RBC Advisor Services, a premier boutique custodian for registered investment advisors, announced today that Craig Gordon has re-joined the firm as a Chief of Strategic Development, Senior Vice President in Business Development. Gordon will be responsible for supporting and driving business growth for both business channels and will report to Greg Plifka, Director of Business Development.

Gordon is a seasoned financial services professional, with 30 years of industry experience. He spent 13 years at RBC Correspondent and RBC Advisor Services (RBC CAS) where he held the roles of Director and President of the firms clearing and custody business for both broker-dealers as well as Registered Investment Advisors. Gordon most recently was head of clearing at DST Market Services, LLC, where he was responsible for strategy, management and growth of the firms clearing and custody business.

Earlier this year, RBC CAS hired Michael Belkin, a 32 year industry veteran, as a Business Development Manager.

The five person RBC CAS business development team, led by Greg Plifka, has an impressive combined 210 years of industry experience.
