MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (October 5, 2018) – RBC Wealth Management – U.S. today announced the appointment of Nick Angilletta as its new Head of Equity Middle Markets/ Institutional Middle Markets (EMM/IMM). Based in New York, Angilletta will be responsible for managing and expanding the business, which is a joint venture between RBC Capital Markets and RBC Wealth Management – U.S. created to serve mid-tier institutional clients.

Angilletta has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on the wealth management capital markets space. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets Americas, Wealth Management at Deutsche Bank, which included overseeing Fixed Income, Equities, Equity Capital Markets (ECM)/Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Foreign Exchange, Listed Options and Structured Products.
Previously, he held several leadership roles at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, including Managing Director and Global Head of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Private Client Sales and Trading business, helping to build the Middle Markets Joint Venture Equity business. Angilletta also served as head of ECM for Wealth Management at Citi Smith Barney and Head of Sales for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s Global Investment Solutions business. He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Baruch College.
Justin Spitzer, who previously served as Head of EMM/IMM, has moved into a new role leading RBC’s U.S. Research group.
