MINNEAPOLIS (June 15, 2021) – RBC Wealth Management–U.S. today announced that Amanda Dolan, one of the masterminds behind the firm’s industry leading digital recruiting platform that led to RBC Wealth Management having one of its most successful recruiting years on record, has been promoted to Head of Advisor Recruiting.

Dolan has spent the past decade at RBC Wealth Management–U.S., holding a variety of roles, starting with a position in the firm’s Madison, Wis. branch before moving into operations. She served her longest tenure in the Business Technology group as Senior Technology Training Consultant; Recruit Team Lead, Technology Engagement & Adoption; and Sr. Technology Experience Consultant. For the past year, Dolan has served as Financial Advisor Onboarding Experience Manager, utilizing her tech experience to bolster the firm’s recruiting efforts. Dolan helped build and roll out a virtual recruiting platform in response to the pivot to remote work at the start of the pandemic.

“Everything we’ve done in the last year has been rooted in pivoting to more robust digital offerings – both for our clients and for the advisors we are bringing onto our platform,” said Tom Sagissor, President of RBC Wealth Management–U.S. “Even as the U.S. economy re-opens, this digitally enabled approach will become increasingly important in order for firms to compete and win. Amanda’s deep knowledge in this area will not only help us maintain the competitive recruiting position we’ve established in recent years, but also accelerate it to a whole new level.”

In her new role, Dolan will oversee a team of 15 professionals and work directly with branch directors, complex directors and divisional directors on effectively telling the RBC Wealth Management–U.S. story in order to attract the best advisors and teams in the business, with a special focus on continuing to attract more diverse advisors to the firm. Together with her team, she will also bring a laser-focus to ensuring those new recruits have the most seamless and positive onboarding experience in the industry.

“RBC Wealth Management has invested so much into transforming our technology and digitizing the advisor recruiting experience over the past few years,” said Dolan. “I am excited to build off such a strong foundation and continue to improve the recruiting and onboarding experience so that RBC Wealth Management is not only the firm of choice for advisors looking to grow their business, but also the place where it’s easiest to make a transition.”
