MINNEAPOLIS (November 1, 2023) — With decades of wealth management experience apiece, Courtney Duphorne and Bill Boehm step into leadership positions in key markets for RBC Wealth Management.

  • Courtney Duphorne has been named Texas North Complex director
  • Bill Boehm has been named Minneapolis Complex director

Duphorne has been with RBC for 30 years, most recently serving as a wealth management consultant supporting RBC financial advisors and their clients in the Texas region. Duphorne has a passion for helping financial advisors in all stages of their careers and she was instrumental in creating new opportunities for Next Gen financial advisors to connect, learn from each other and grow their practices. In her new role, Duphorne will oversee 64 financial advisors and 118 total employees across six branches in North Texas. Duphorne takes on the role as the previous Texas Complex director, Andy Teller, transitions into a financial advisor role with the firm.

“I believe in the RBC Wealth Management culture, people and personalized service model,” Duphorne said, “and I’m looking forward to continuing to work closely with the financial advisors in Texas to deliver exceptional client experiences.”

Boehm has worked at RBC for 23 years and has more than 29 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a wealth management consultant in Minneapolis, Boehm helped bring together RBC resources and capabilities, collaborating with financial advisors to serve the unique needs of their clients. In his role as Minneapolis Complex director, Boehm will oversee 97 financial advisors and 190 total employees across six branches in Minnesota and South Dakota. He takes on the role as previous Minneapolis Complex Director Mark Gherity steps into a new business development role with the firm.

“The RBC Wealth Management difference stems from our legacy of service and doing what’s right for clients,” said Boehm. “It’s an honor to take this role in Minneapolis, where our firm has been serving clients for more than 100 years.”

“Courtney and Bill are known as strong advocates for RBC financial advisors and clients,” said Tom Sagissor, president, RBC Wealth Management – U.S. “These promotions are a natural next step for these leaders who are well-respected within RBC, as well as the industry and the markets they serve. I’m excited to see them thrive in their new leadership roles as RBC Wealth Management continues our growth trajectory across the U.S.”
