MINNEAPOLIS, (November 4, 2025) — RBC Wealth Management announced today that Scott Skinner has been promoted to the role of Mountain South divisional director. Skinner previously served as the firm’s Texas South complex director and will now take on expanded responsibility for the Mountain South division, which is comprised of 347 financial advisors in 34 branches in four complexes across Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
Skinner brings extensive industry experience and leadership expertise to his new role. He joined RBC in 2023 and is a 32-year veteran in the financial services industry. Prior to RBC, Skinner spent a decade in leadership roles at UBS in Texas. He started his career in 1993 at Merrill Lynch in Tallahassee, Florida, rising through the ranks to become a complex director for their Wealth Management division. He also served as a regional vice president for SunAmerica/AIG.

Darryl Traweek, current Mountain South divisional director, will move into a complex director role for the Rocky Mountain complex, part of the Mountain South division. Traweek has been a leader at RBC Wealth Management since 1994 and will turn his focus to growth opportunities within the 12 branches in his complex.
