As director of the Private Client Group’s Central division, Wally oversees the financial advisors and other professionals serving clients in branch offices across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin. He also leads offices in parts of New York and Pennsylvania.

Wally began his career in the investment industry as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in 1988.  He joined RBC Wealth Management more than 25 years ago as a financial advisor. Before being named divisional director, he served as the branch director of the Edina branch and the complex director in Minneapolis.  

With a deep commitment to RBC’s vision and values, Wally places strong emphasis on collegiality, client service and community involvement within his division. He is the executive sponsor of the RBC Wealth Management Branch Director’s Advisory Council. In addition, Wally is on the board of the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota chapter.

Wally earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Minnesota. He resides in Edina, Minnesota, with his wife, and they have three adult children. In his spare time, Wally enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with family.
