Vice President and Regional Director, Eastern and Western Ontario

RBC Dominion Securities

What excites me about wealth management is the way our work can create a positive cycle—from our clients’ financial success to setting up future generations for success and, over time, to a more prosperous community at large.

Kelly Scrivens is vice president and regional director of RBC Dominion Securities, Eastern and Western Ontario. He’s responsible for 36 branches and sub-branches with more than $80 billion of client assets under administration.

He began his career at RBC Dominion Securities in 1995 in Edmonton, Alberta. From a temporary role in the securities cage, he soon took on progressive roles, from associate to investment advisor to assistant branch manager in our Edmonton office.

In 2004, Kelly moved to Toronto as head of Training and Practice Management and was promoted to senior manager of Business Initiatives and Estate Planning. During his time in that role, Kelly led or co-led projects including the introduction of a modern documentation and form scanning system and the introduction of flexible client reporting packages. Kelly also managed the national Will and Estate Consulting Team.

He became branch manager of our Guelph, Cambridge and Orangeville branches in 2010. Two years later, the Guelph Mercury named Kelly as one of the city’s Top 40 under 40. After that, he was recognized as the Discretionary Branch Manager of the Year for Ontario in 2014. The following year, Kelly became branch manager of our London, Ontario branch.

Kelly was named national Wealth Management Branch Manager of the Year in 2016. He also served as chairperson of the DS Manager’s Advisory Board in 2019. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Alberta and a CFA Charter holder.

He lives in London with his wife Nina, their children Decker and Kaya, and their dog Max. In his community, Kelly serves on the Finance Committee for the London Health Sciences Foundation.
