Sean Priestley

Sean is the Head of Office in the South West. This role involves ensuring the smooth running of our Exeter, Plymouth and Truro offices. He is also a Director and an Intermediary Specialist Wealth Manager, based in the Exeter office at RBC Brewin Dolphin, where he leads the Southwest Adviser Partnership team. He works closely with independent financial advisers across the region, developing tailored investment solutions and ensuring clients receive thoughtful, well-structured portfolio management.

His career in financial services began in the City in 1994, including time as a Convertible Bond Market Maker at Credit Suisse. He joined RBC Brewin Dolphin in 2006 and went on to build deep experience working with advisers. Over the years he has helped shape and grow the Adviser Partnership team, establishing strong foundations and trusted relationships with firms across the Southwest.

Today, Sean is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds a STEP certificate. He remains focused on strengthening the team he built, enhancing the service offered to advisers and their clients, and ensuring portfolios are managed with clarity, care, and long-term purpose.

Sean has been Head of Office in the South West since 2012. This role involves ensuring the smooth running of our Exeter, Plymouth and Truro offices. He is also a Divisional Director and an Investment Manager, creating and managing bespoke portfolios for the clients of independent financial advisers as well direct private individuals.
