LONDON, 30 July 2026 – RBC Wealth Management today announced the next stage of its Strategic Hiring Programme with plans to hire more than 70 experienced client-facing professionals across the UK, Jersey and Republic of Ireland by the end of 2027, as part of the firm’s wider ambition to accelerate growth.

RBC Wealth Management’s growth-focused hiring programme has been running since the beginning of this financial year and has already resulted in more than 20 high-calibre external candidates accepting offers to join RBC. Appointments have been made across a number of offices including London, Bath, Cambridge, Marlborough, Bristol and Edinburgh, with further appointments expected in the coming months.

Why RBC Wealth Management is expanding its client-facing team

The programme is focused on recruiting for new client-facing roles and is part of RBC Wealth Management’s wider European growth strategy, ensuring the firm has the skills, talent and technology in place to meet clients’ evolving needs.

Hal Catherwood, Managing Director of RBC Wealth Management Europe, said: “We’re entering an exciting chapter for RBC Wealth Management as we build and strengthen our teams to meet changing client needs and deliver on our growth ambitions. Our plan is to become the leading advice-led wealth manager in Europe, attract and develop the very best people, and invest in technology that frees our advisers to do what they do best – supporting our clients.

“In our conversations with candidates, they are energised by our strategy, culture and propositions. They see the value of being part of RBC, combining global scale with personalised service, and they see the opportunity of joining high-performing teams already delivering for clients across the UK, Jersey and Ireland.

“These new hires are part of our growth strategy and sit alongside our deployment of new technology, focus on internal talent development and investment in new services which will help us support our clients to achieve their financial goals now and into the future.”
