Tasneem Azim-Khan is vice president and chief investment strategist. In this role, she works closely with the leadership team and is responsible for the strategic direction of our investment platform, implementation of new solutions firm-wide, related communications and training, portfolio risk management, and technology initiatives that will add value to clients and employees.
Tasneem has over 15 years’ experience in equity analysis and portfolio management. In 2013, she joined the U.S. Equity desk of RBC Wealth Management Canada’s Portfolio Advisory Group (PAG) and was promoted last year to team lead for the U.S. Equity desk with new responsibilities related to the launch and oversight of new products for advisors. In addition, Tasneem sits on the investment committees for the U.S. Focus List and North American Focus List, among others.
Prior to joining the PAG desk, Tasneem was an equity research analyst at UBS Securities Canada responsible for the coverage of the Canadian Industrials and Transportation Sector. She holds a B.S. (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and is a CFA charterholder.
